"I personally use the XFT-502 Gold-Hand Electronic Massager for lower back pain and my shoulder and I think it's terrific. Resulting from football injuries when I was much younger, my right shoulder now has a condition what is commonly termed as a "frozen shoulder." For all practical purposes for the last 15 years I couldn't quickly raise my right elbow any higher than my shoulder.  Doing anything overhead with my right arm, such as hammering or even just hanging Christmas decorations, was out of the question. It took quite a bit of time and effort for me to raise my right elbow any higher than shoulder-high, much less my arm all the way up alongside my head.  In order for me to do that I'd have to work at it - slowly raising my shoulder and arm incrementally. My daily activity doesn't require me needing to lift my right arm up high and I no longer shoot bow and arrow nor do I engage in much other athletic activity so I guess I've let my rehabilitation sit on hold.  I do however have occasional pain in that shoulder and now instead of taking 4 Ibuprofen or 2 Naproxen, I just stick on the tens unit pads and about 10 to 15 minutes later, the pain is gone and usually stays that way for the rest of the day and that night.  I may go several days or a week before wanting to reapply the tens unit pads to that shoulder.
